4/5 October, 2008 Village at War, Stoke Bruerne (5 mins jctlS, MI), Northampton. Experience a canal village at war. Military & civilian vehicles and re-enactors, supported by MVT SE Midlands. Free camping from Friday evening for re-enactors and traders, Living History displays, trading stands, historic narrowboats, canal museum exhibition (free entry with ration cards provided at pay booth), Cafe Rene (supported by an alternative Madam Edith!), afternoon tea dance with dance lessons and a whole lot more. 1940's big band swing dance on Saturday evening.
