Self Propelled Recoiless Anti-Tank Rifle

This is the Self Propelled Recoiless Anti-Tank Rifle 106 mm M40 that was carried in the Champs with the back cut out. Manufactured in USA and employed by the Support Platoonns of the Parachute Infantry Battalions. First used by British in 1956. Range: 2,200 yards. [700/800 yards anti-tank effective.] Crew: Vehicle is 4, two are used on gun. Vehicle: 1/4 ton 4x4 truck Replaced by British WOMBAT 120 mm anti-tank recoiless rifle during 1960's.
