Padlocks, 4 levers, 1.5". Qty: 1, [ BAOR =2] Screwdrivers and cabinet, 4". Spanner , adjustable, 6".
Inspection Lamp [See MV No 20 page 26]
Tyre pump, foot, car type. Painted green. See MV 20 page 26
Gauge, tyre pressure, straight type, 5 to 90 lbs P.S.I.
, screw cap, 1 gallon. 5" x 6" x .5" high with 1.5" diameter hole. Painted green.
Case spare lamp bulbs , 3.031"x 1.843"x 1.906". With qty 1 head and 1 side/tail bulb.
Pickaxe head 4.5 lbs and helve 4.5 lbs, and shovel, General Service. Handles are green.

This is the kit carried all the time according to the CES , simple equipment.

Matchet , 15" blade.­
Rope, towing light, 15' [Mk 1]
Packs, large each containing ground sheet [Mk 6], 4 haversacks WE pattern 1944, 8 blankets barrack single. Greatcoat 1940 pattern.
Jerrycan . Painted black with white cross.
Tool kit: tool bag No 1 with hammer engineers ball 1 lb 8 oz, spanners open and tube types, pliers, spanner for fan adjustment etc...
Slave lead for distribution box socket, inter vehicle starting.­
Inspection light, No 2 Mk 1.
Box rations, 24 hours/man pack.­
Case maps, General Service No 4.­
Bottle, water aluminium with cup.
Bucket water, canvas folding.­
Gloves.
Wire cutters.
Tape insulating.
Wire ,copper soft .
Brush, hand Mk 1 and brush cleaning 11".
Gun grease, compressor junior No 2.
Can, oil injector rigid spout pint.

Spares: [1] plug, sparking qty 2, [2] points, contact.

This lot is only issued when required and returned to stores after. If possible the vehicles registration number is put on all the kit permanently kept . This was due to fact that ANY losses were treated as serious and a bit of borrowing to avoid trouble had to be avoided. To be added are the Wireless/Radio set [s] if required and their kit. I have not listed weapons and specialised equipment.

MOST OF ALL THIS IS STANDARD MILITARY KIT AND SPECIALS!­
