Royal Navy Vehicles for use by Royal Marines
(Contract Number 6 Veh 7176 dated 1952)

No help from RN on these. If it was for ships it would be a different matter !!!
All were WN1 with B40 No 1 Mk 2A/4 engines. They carried a ticket above dash with "This engine cost £???, so take care of it !" according to an ex Royal Marine who used them in 1950's. He could not remember the price of the engines.

6955 RN was transferred to the Army as 13 BT 84 also whilst with 42 Commando Royal Marines 12/05/59

???? RN [150??] became army reg 12 BT 94. S/O Ruddington 10/12/63, sold12/5/64 Lot 494. It could either be 1784 RN [15011], 1789 RN [15016] or 1798 RN [15024].
I can't add anything to the history of 12 BT 94. I will continue to look!

12 BT 95 was allocated to a Land Rover but cancelled on 26/6/58 and is NOT a Champ
