| History: | The seven B&W photos below were taken by the FVRDE and
show most aspects of the vehicle. The colour photographs showing the vehicle under light restoration were provided by Neil MacIsaac in Germany who owned the vehicle from the late1960's/early 1970's until 2007. Neil had bought the vehicle from a dealer in Hertfordshire. The bottom colour photo shows the vehicle in early 2008 as owned by Andrew Wardle who is sympathetically returning the vehicle to as close to the FVRDE conditions as possible. Body Number 4748 : This would make it a late 53/early 54 vehicle with Chassis Number circa WN1-4500 if it was from The Wo contract. The engine number is 53375 : This
engine is again late 53/early54 and is the only one in this area
of number with no Chassis allocation to WO contract. |
