| History: | Harry contacted the Register in 2007and supplied the two photos: "I am located in Florida and I have two Austin Champs hoping to be able to make one with both of them. The second is chassis # 9604, engine #61303 on the hood it shows c/wr/961946/540/110 which I have no idea what it means. The engine is free but the electrical looks pretty bad, the alternator has a different model and has some American connection to it, the carburetor need to be rebuild, the distributor has the points and rotor bad, and the starter had been open which I have no idea if it work or not. The good part is that the engine looks clean. I purchased the vehicle on e-bay from Orlando Florida."" |
