Bill Prosser from the Museum contacted the Register in 2008. The top four photos show the vehicle after it has been painstakingly restored by Museum volunteers to match the specifications and markings of vehicles that served with the Regiment in the 1950s and 1960s

In Oct 2001 -- My name is John McNair from Olinda VIC and have just purchased Champ Chassis No. 10420 from John Gilroy in Tasmania. I wish to report that this vehicle is in absolutely remarkable condition, and I have attached some images for you. (See the bottom four photos). All bits and pieces are still fitted, the unit is straight without mods, rust or any signs of maltreatment or heavy use.
