| History: | Was for sale on e-bay in with the words "The previous owner had this for 36 years, and it was stored in a collection and never unregistered. It is totally corrosion-free. It comes with a 12 volt conversion, and is currently running a Datsun (Austin-styled) 1600 motor and a four-speed Mowog gearbox. It is currently two-wheel drive. It has had brand new front wheel cylinder kits installed, a brand new heavy duty battery, brand new retreaded tyres, and an aftermarket tachometer fitted. There has also been a large fuel tank fitted under the driver's seat, and the space in which the fuel tank is usually situated has had two lids made for it to create a storage space. I have the original Rolls-Royce engine, which will be included in the sale. It is slightly fire-damaged (please see photo). There is no five-speed gearbox. The radio is missing the handset. I will also include tail shafts, and splines for conversion back to four-wheel drive. The Champ comes with a snorkle, rear shoes, CV boots, complete solid canopy and doors and frames (very rare). It also comes with the original accessories as seen in the photos." |
