| History: | Photos taken at John's farm in February 2007. John says the vehicle came from the Aberdeen University Army Cadets but they have not added their Uni and AC badge. The markings are 55 on red with 52 Div (blue with white cross) which indicates used by 7/9th Bn [Highlanders] The Royal Scots [The Royal Regiment] [TA], 155 [Lowland] Inf Bde [TA], 52 [Lowland] Inf Div [TA] until 1961. In 1961, the 7/9th Bn merged with 8th Bn [Lothians & Peebleshire] The Royal Scots [The Royal Regiment] [TA] to form 8/9th Bn The Royal Scots [The Royal Regiment] [TA]. This Champ was then seen as obsolete and S/O. |
