Its a 1953 model ,Chassis no 7639, I have it stored in an outbuilding at home here in the village of Glenmore in the Scottish highlands. I have owned this particular one for about four years now and when I purchased it, it was painted light blue with big yellow flowers as it was used by the BBC in a programme in the 70s, Iam glad to say it is now back to its true colours again. Since leaving the army it has been stored for most of its life and only comes out to play in the summer to go to some of the local shows. Just wondered if this info was of any use to you, and if you happen to meet anyone who would like to own this vehicle, pass on my e.mail address to them as it may be coming up for sale at the start of next year. |
