Martin contacted the Register in JAn 2008: "The bonnet has markings on it, on the left side of the bonnet is a box with three horizontal bars with the words
526 WKSPRS, the middle of the bonnet has  a number 251 and on the right side another box with a white sword with a clenched fist pointing up in the middle of it"

JM: "526 WKSP RS: THE COLOURS MUST BE REME [BLUE YELLOW RED]. WKSP IS WORKSHOP BUT RS COULD BE ANYTHING SUCH AS ROYAL SIGNALS, RETURNED STORES [DEPOT], ROYAL SCOTS ETC....
NO REME WORKSHOP WAS NUMBERED 526 BUT THERE WAS A 526 COY RASC [TA] ATTACHED TO 52 [LOWLAND] DIVISION [TA] AND MAYBE YOU HAVE THE REME UNIT ATTACHED TO THIS COY. HOWEVER, THE FORMATION SIGN IS NOT 52 DIV.
THERE WAS ALSO A 526 LAA REGT [TA] AND YOU COULD HAVE THE REME UNIT ATTACHED TO THIS REGIMENT.
THE FORMATION SIGN IS THE KEY."

Was Tim Day  Ann.Lovejoy@constantiapack.co.uk who sold this vehicle on e-bay Dec 2007.  He said that he has broken two Champs for spares over the last few years (WN1-476 and WN1-1950)
