David contacted the Register in JUne 2008 and said: "I have just found WN1 4030 with Engine No. 52060. The Champ was in the backyard of a house in Maida Vale Western Australia, having been driven there about thirty (30) years ago and simply abandoned. To say the least it is in very poor order, condition 3/4 . I am still deciding whether to embark on a restoration or not. I have WN1 2392 which is condition 1 and recently presented at the Gingin British Car Show where it attracted huge interest." |
