The engine number listed is 50486, which, if correct, comes from Chassis WN1-2977, WO Reg: 29 BE 77, DiS: Friday 5/6/53, RV: ASC/R/1526, S/O: WD Storage & Disposal Depot Ruddington in Nottinghamshire on Tuesday 7/4/64. Sold Off: 75th Ruddington Sale on Tuesday 29/9/64 as Lot 418 by auctioneers Walker, Walton & Hanson of Nottingham. Vehicle located on depot's "Burning Ground".

Advert says: After his duty-time in the UK-army, this towing truck was used at an Antwerp Chemical Plant. The Congres-brothers got hold of this vehicle somewhere end of the sixties and used it a few times in underground garages. It was put in storage 30 years ago. Last flawless MOT was in 1966.
