| History: | These photos were sent to the Register in November 2007 by Nigel Hills: "The location is BAOR and the Champ is serving with the Royal Military Police. 727 ON BLACK WAS: 101 [ARMY] PROVOST COMPANY ROYAL MILITARY POLICE ATTACHED TO HQ NORTHAG. The RMP unit is attached to the RASC Coy for convoy duties. Notice the headlight switched on, the trafficators and the wing mirror on n/s wing. The fact that the Champ has full sidescreens indicates a senior officer is using the vehicle. This is the same unit as 19 BE 69. Note: RASC Transport Coy was under the command of a major and was made up of HQ with 2 to 4 Troops. HQ had two x FFW and two x Cargo 1/4 Ton Trucks and amongst its soldiers, 1 corporal and 1 private [driver] RMP were attached. Each troop had 1 x 1/4 ton Truck. |
