Was owned by an old farmer in the Healsville area around Melbourne in Victoria Australia. He died and the family always wondered what he did with his Austin Champ, they knew it didn't go so they thought he must have sold it to a collector. Some 7 years after his death, they were cleaning out the back of an old hay shed in 1981 when they discovered the champ. It was covered in hay but was perfectly dry and rust free. Malcolm Hayes bought it and Martin and he rebuilt it over the next couple of years.
