This photograph above was taken by Phil Plumb at Jackson's Military Surplus site at Misson during the summer of 1970 and featured in Champ World 10. The identity of the vehicle was unknown until John Mastrangelo tracked it down from its Lot Number, 598D, using the Disposal Auction catalogues: all sites sold Champs in multiple lots.

The picture is dated 1970 and the vehicle has not been there long.

There is only one Champ sold through Ruddington with  Lot No. 598D which is 35 BE 70. Sold at the 94th Ruddington sale on 14th Feb 1968 with six Champs in the Lot.

The other vehicles were: (A) 77 BE 64, (B) 78 BE 42, (C) 41 BE 07, (E) 14 BF 76 and (F) 95 BE 97.
